Thame’s highest winning rink was played by Philippa Feltham, Jill Brooks and skip Mike Ralls who was Captain for the day 25 – 10.

On Tuesday 6th August, the ladies played Watlington at home. Weather was good with cloud and sun…very pleasant to play. Thame managed to win by 1 shot overall with a score of 41 - 40, with no thanks to the lady captain’s rink who lost by 16 shots!! The other 2 rinks did very well with the winning rink of Philippa Feltham, Jackie Emberson and skip Pauline Holmes 19-10 and Sandra French, Gini Williams and skip Deirdre Page 18-10.

On Thursday 8th August Thame Men’s League team played their last game of the League season against rivals Witney Town A in a shoot off to decide who would be relegated along with Woodstock. Thame finished 6th out of 7 and the division was won comfortably by Adderbury.

After a dull and cloudy start the match against Tring on Saturday 10th August, brightened up and the sun came out on the fourteenth end.
